Visor Orange on eighth finals, De Jong ends training with ice on the knee

One day after the victory over North Macedonia the atmosphere is still good at the Dutch national team. Smiling faces, jokes and some walking back and forth. At least for the basic players, the substitutes were given an hour of intensive training.

Under the watchful eye of national coach Frank de Boer, they worked up a sweat while Matthijs de Ligt, Donyell Malen, Memphis Depay and the likes calmly stretched and stretched.

Now that the Orange has concluded the group stage, the focus is on the eighth final. Who will be the opponent is still a big question mark. There is a good chance that Orange will meet a country from the ‘pool of death’, the dreaded group F with France, Germany, Portugal and Hungary.
