A visitor sees a crack on the roller coaster as the train passes

A man saw that a support pole of the attraction was broken. He was able to film this on the next pass and his footage probably saved people.

The crack is clear at the top of the post.

The images are chilling. The pole of Fury 325, a park attraction in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seen showing a large crack. When the train passes, the whole top of the post moves.

It was a visitor to this park who saw the thing from the ground. This former paramedic and volunteer firefighter was waiting for his kids to get off what’s billed as “North America’s fastest, tallest and longest giga coaster” when he stared at this detail. “I saw a light filter through the pole,” he explained, according to CBS.

He then grabbed his cell phone and filmed the following passage. The break is clean! “My hands were shaking because I knew it could be catastrophic.” He rushed to park security to show them this footage. He did not get a clear answer but later learned from firefighters that his video had indeed caused the attraction to shut down.

“My heart was like relieved because I was just scared… are they going to do the right thing? I just didn’t want to see anything bad happen. It only takes once, only once for tragedy to strike”.

The park announced that the attraction will remain closed until it is fully repaired.
