“I have to give a response to what actually happened. So actually what happened yesterday was that there was talk that the driver in question, Tubagus Joddy, said he was sleepy,” said Roy, Friday (11/5/2021).
“But actually 44 minutes before the incident he had uploaded it on his Insta Story, and it was at a fairly high speed,” he continued.
Roy said Joddy uploaded the video at 11.44 WIB, while the accident occurred at 12.32 WIB.
With a time of 44 minutes from Km 555 and the accident occurred at Km 672, Roy’s analysis, the speed traveled by the car Vanessa about 159 km per hour.
“I calculated, when he uploaded it on Insta Story at 11.44 and then the accident happened at 12.32. So there were 44 minutes from kilometer 555 when he uploaded on Insta Story until the accident at km 672,” explained Roy.
“Well, if it counts, astagfirullah, turns out the speed is quite high. Average 159 km per hour, 159 km per hour is average. So if on average it could be at one time he’s speed is more than 170 or even 180,” he added.
Roy also doubted the reason why Joddy fell asleep while driving to Surabaya. “If he says he’s sleepy, I don’t think it’s because when he’s sleepy, the tendency is speed melan. It’s a very high speed,” said Roy.
“This is very, very dangerous. Without prioritizing the police, I express my doubts about Tubagus Joddy’s statement that he said he was sleepy,” he added.
According to Roy, the video that had been uploaded by Joddy could be evidence of clues to uncover this case. Even though Joddy had deleted the video, Roy made sure it could be retrieved.
“Yes, that’s one of the clues to uncovering this case. Because if you say sleepy That, with all due respect, I’m a bit dubious,” Roy explained.
“You can. It can be taken. The video can be very well taken. And I think Cyber Crime from the East Java Police can do this. If not, I think the Police Headquarters is also ready to help with that,” he added.
