Visit the phenomenon Venus next to Jupiter 1-3 March ’66

The National Astronomical Research Institute (NARIT) invites the general public to watch the phenomenon. Venus alongside Jupiter In the west on March 1-3, 2023 from the time the sun sets until 20:00

By those who are interested in watching this phenomenon can be observed with the naked eye. This can be easily noticed as both planets are very prominent in the sky during the early evening.

The phenomenon of “planet convergence” means that two or more planets appear close together in the sky at an angular distance of no more than 5 degrees. It is a regular astronomical phenomenon. This is because the planets constantly change their position in the sky along the ecliptic.

Therefore, the planets appear in the sky in the same direction. Or move to a similar position, so it’s normal.

On March 1, 2023, Jupiter will appear above Venus, about 0.8 degrees away.

On March 2, 2023, Venus will change its position to appear alongside Jupiter. about 0.6 degrees apart

On March 3, 2023, Venus will appear above Jupiter. They are about 1.4 degrees apart and gradually angle further apart after this.
