Netflix has announced the fifth season of the Spanish hit series Vis a Vis: El Oasis will be released this summer.
It was a bit of a wait for fans of the series Vis a Vis when exactly the fifth season would appear on streaming service Netflix. Now there is finally clarity. Netflix has announced that it will add the fifth season on July 31, 2020.
Time jump of 15 years
It is scheduled for the fifth season Vis a Vis made a considerable leap in time of just 15 years. This means, among other things, that the main characters Zulema and Macarena are no longer imprisoned. They now earn their money by robbing jewelers, banks and casinos.
Several characters from the series make their appearance again. This includes not only fellow prisoner Goya, but also the director of Sandoval prison. Several new characters will also appear in the fifth season.
