On Friday, July 9, a representative from Viettel said that this Army Telecommunications Group was ready to launch a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination management platform.

This is a task entrusted to Viettel by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Health, that of Information and Communication as well as the National Steering Committee for the prevention and control of COVID-19, in order to to carry out the vaccination campaign throughout Vietnam.
The platform consists of four systems: an electronic health record, a COVID-19 vaccination information portal, a national immunization support system and a response center (MCC).
The entire process, from registering for vaccination to finding relevant information, can be handled through the electronic health record or the vaccination information portal.
The national COVID-19 vaccination campaign will take place in the 63 cities and provinces of the country, with 19,500 vaccination points. The Ministry of Health expects that by the end of 2021, at least 50% of people aged 18 and over will be vaccinated, and that this rate is expected to rise to over 70% by the end of the first quarter 2022.
