Virus truth leader Willem Engel arrested for incitement

The Public Prosecution Service started an investigation in January, after a collective declaration was filed against Engel. According to that report, he is guilty of incitement, dissemination of medical disinformation, fraud, statements with a terrorist intent and threats. More than 22,000 people joined.

“On the basis of the initial results of this investigation into the actions of the suspect, it has been decided to proceed with the arrest,” the Public Prosecution Service said in a press release.

‘Better late than never’

Norbert Dikkeboom, the initiator of the mass declaration, reacts with relief to the arrest. “I am glad that the authorities that are there for this are now acting,” Dikkeboom told the NOS. “It took a long time, but better late than never.”

Dikkeboom was personally informed by the Public Prosecution Service about Engel’s arrest. Justice would have told him that the investigation into Engel continues.
