The world of sport continues to show different expressions of support with the residents of the island of La Palma affected by the eruption of the volcano. There have been multiple demonstrations of support with different initiatives of athletes at the level and collectively with the beautiful island.
In the last hours it has been known that from November 26 to 28 a solidarity virtual race will be held under the name of ‘Run for La Palma’, organized by the Young Sports Foundation and which will be chaired by the Secretary of State for Sports and President of the Superior Council of Sport (CSD), José Manuel Franco, having as its ambassador the athlete from Tenerife CajaCanarias and member of the Spanish athletics team, Samuel García.
