The first virtual Spanish championship goes to Real Madrid! Marco Asensio has the royal title at #LaLigaSantanderChallenge bestowed on Sunday evening.

At the FIFA20 tournament, supported by LaLiga, representatives of all first division clubs (with the exception of FC Barcelona due to the cooperation with PES manufacturer Konami) competed, and Asensio crowned the winner in the final.
2-0 in the round of 16 against Granada José Antonio Martínez, 5-1 in the quarterfinals against Villarreals Manuel Morlanes, 7-0 in the semifinals against Eibars Edu Expósito and then: 4-2 in the final against Aitor Ruibal by CD Leganés.
A perfect tournament for the 24-year-old Spaniard, who usually competed with the Bale-Asensio-Hazard offensive. Has anyone had (too) much time to train in the past few months?
By the way: The tournament was of course intended for a good cause – initiator and cult commentator Ibia Llanos was able to collect over 141,000 euros in donations (originally “only” 100,000 were planned), which should go to UNICEF.
