Before Janssens came to Europen in January 2010 as a manager for EU affairs, she gained experience in the political arena in Brussels. There she worked as a public affairs and PR consultant for clients in the environmental, food, chemical and energy sectors. Janssens holds a Masters degree in Political and Social Sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and another Masters degree in Intercultural Management from Icheb Business School Brussels.
