Each piece was created by an American craftsman. Every purchase helps preserve the tradition and history of American craftsmanship. This is the perfect time to present special accessories and new lines for the home and garden. We are particularly interested in wrought iron, garden wreaths and statues, birdhouses and outdoor furniture, as well as ceramics, wind chimes and other unique creations.[img_assist|nid=7|title=|desc=|link=none|align =right|width=144|height=112]One longtime customer said, “I found beautiful art for my home, unique stepping stones for my garden, cute accessories for my daughter’s room, a jewelry gift for my friend, and the scarf perfect for my mother for Mother’s Day.”[img_assist|nid=8|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=222|height=145]Additionally, Heritage Celebration!, an area of educational demonstrations by local designers and craft guilds (here are the guild participants), has been a huge success since it was first presented in 1997. In the gallery you can interact with members of local craft guilds. These talented artisans will demonstrate techniques and skills to produce quality American craftsmanship. Live demonstrations will include knitting, spinning, sewing and beading. Quilting, carving and woodturning are just a few of the many crafts that can be demonstrated. Take your kids to watch as a craftsman transforms a slab of clay, a block of wood, or a skein of thread into an impressive and functional work of art.
