In a virtual meeting led by the Minister of Culture, Tristán Bauer, and the president of the National Endowment for the Arts, Diana Saiegh, sand they officially presented the more than 70 references and personalities from various artistic disciplines and professions related to culture, who were summoned by the Directory of the National Endowment for the Arts and who will define who will be the beneficiaries and beneficiaries of the Sustain Culture II Scholarships.
The Ministry of Culture of the Nation, in conjunction with the National Fund for the Arts and in agreement with ANSES, will allocate 450 million pesos for extraordinary scholarships of up to thirty thousand pesos ($ 30,000) to culture workers. The objective is to contribute to mitigating the effects of the emergency that the country is experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The call is open from July 13 to 17.
Once the registration period has ended, ANSES and the FNA team will first review whether the applications meet the minimum necessary requirements. After this preselection, the specialists will have the task of evaluating the antecedents of the applicants, taking into account the situation of vulnerability facing the effects of social, preventive and compulsory isolation and the health emergency. Through a record, the jury will submit the list of beneficiaries to the FNA Directory for consolidation and final approval.
