In overtime, the Reds managed to find the opening against the Blues (1-0) to win the League Cup title.
For Liverpool, deliverance will come from Virgil Van Dijk. Already the author of a goal at the hour mark, refused after review of the video, the Dutch defender persisted and signed during extra time of the League Cup final to score the only goal of the match (1-0 , 118th) against Chelsea with an unstoppable header.
A crazy finale
