On the designer’s Instagram page, his family wrote Abloh had been struggling with heart angiosarcoma for two years. The disease is a rather rare type of cancer that affects the heart.
According to the family, Abloh has been secretly battling the disease since the 2019 diagnosis. He has recently undergone several treatments while continuing to lead institutions in the fields of fashion, arts and culture.
