Kohli scored 1377 runs in ODIs last year. The player scored six centuries and eight half-centuries during this period. During the World Cup, Kohli also surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s record of scoring the most centuries in ODIs. Kohli, who scored 765 runs in 11 matches, was selected as the player of the tournament.
In 2018, Kohli won the Test Player of the Year award and the Cricketer of the Year award in 2017 and 2018.
