UAE: India captain Virat Kohli named ICC ODI Player of the Decade Kohli has been named the ODI Men’s Cricketer of the Decade for his ten years from 2010 to 2020. Virat Kohli is the only player to score more than 10,000 runs in ODIs during this decade.
Kohli has 38 centuries, 48 fifties and 112 catches. Kohli has scored over 10,000 ODI runs this decade at an average of 60.83. Former skipper MS Dhoni and opener Rohit Sharma were with Kohli in the match for the best ODI.
Kohli was also selected as the captain of the Test team. Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin are the only Indians in the Test team of this decade. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is the captain of the ODI T20 teams. Rohit Sharma, Kohli, Dhoni and Jaspreet Bumra are the only Indian players to feature in the ODI formats. Ashwin and Kohli are the Indian presence in the Test team.
