KOMPAS.com – A video featuring a car Toyota Yaris hit a motorbike rider while overtaking a viral corner on social media.
One of them, the video was uploaded by the owner of the Instagram account @ viralterkini99 on Tuesday (12/1/2020).
The video that is currently viral is reportedly recorded by a motorbike rider who is capturing the truck behind him.
At first, you can see a green trailer truck driving slowly around a corner. Meanwhile, other vehicles look patiently behind the truck.
However, not long after, a yellow Yaris appeared “hang out” several vehicles behind the truck.
Arriving at the corner, Yaris, who was about to overtake the truck, hit a motorcycle that suddenly appeared from the opposite direction.
Accidents are inevitable. Two motorcyclists fell and bounced, while the car tried to pull the car away from the scene.

In its upload, the Instagram account @ viralterkini99 states that the location of the incident is at Maros, South Sulawesi.

Confirming the incident, Kompas.com contacted the Head of the Then Head of Maros Police, AKP Amalia Normadiah.
Amalia said that it was true that the location of the incident when viewed from the viral video was in Maros, South Sulawesi.

“As for the incident, it is true in the Maros region from the perspective of the situation,” said Amalia when contacted Kompas.com, Wednesday (2/12/2020).

Amalia explained that the location of the accident was in Mallawa District, precisely on Jalan Poros Maros-Bone.
