He explained that the incident started when a number of teenagers from Mayungan I Hamlet made kites in the shape of a dragon and would fly them at Murtigading Field.

The kite which has a length of about 50 meters and is ready to be flown by the victim and some of his friends.

During the flight trial, there were strong winds at the scene so that the kite took the victim flying.

“It just so happens that it’s kite season, so the kids were made, and want to try it, you know, then fly 3 meters high,” said Marjana.

Unfortunately, when he joined, the rope to fly the kite that was held by the victim broke so that the victim fell to the ground.

As a result, the victim suffered injuries to his wrists and hips and is currently being treated at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital.

“Currently still in the hospital,” he said.
