TRIBUNNEWS.COM, BEKASI – Viral on social media a video depicting a number of Covid-19 patients being treated by officers dressed in personal protective equipment (PPE) in the parking lot to the top pickup car at Dr. Chasbullah Abdulmajid Hospital, Bekasi City, West Java.
In the video, several patients can be seen sleeping on mats in the parking lot of the vehicle.
There are also patients who sit in wheelchairs and others who lie on top pickup car.
The President Director of the Bekasi City Hospital Kusnanto Saidi confirmed the video.
He said the incident occurred this morning, Friday (25/6/2021).
“This morning (it happened), so the patient couldn’t wait to be in a wheelchair, so he chose to sleep,” Kusnanto said as quoted from Kompas.TV.

Kustanto explained that the patient came in a critical condition so that the officers immediately examined him as soon as he arrived at the hospital.
“They came, their condition is very critical, we are here, we don’t have to be dropped off on the spot. We are immediately alert, our officers are ready to deal directly with where the patient comes,” said Kusnanto.
“They all came with (Covid-19) symptoms. Later the examination in the same tent in the hallway that we prepared, triage is called, initial examination,” he added.
He said the patients in the emergency tents were not patients who were confirmed positive for Covid-19. They will be examined first with a PCR swab while they are being treated.
