URGENCH, KOMPAS.com – One the bride stripped of his pants shortly after the wedding was over, for the brothers to check groom is he still virgin.

A video showing the young girl without pants being mobbed by relatives of her husband’s family drew criticism on social media. The video was taken by the groom’s aunt.

The wedding was held in Uzbek tradition, and at first everything went well. But after the event was over suddenly the groom’s family accused the girl of not being a virgin and to check it they checked the girl’s genitals.
The video footage depicts the bride being put to bed and removing her pants. The family members who examined were mostly women.
The girl had resisted and was angry, but could not help but finally let her clothes be stripped.

During the examination the girl covered her face with her palms and cried. Not only that, she was also spoken to by the groom’s family because being veiled did not keep her virginity before marriage.

According to the testimony of the bride’s stepfather, her son-in-law raped her child but their family only found out about it after the wedding.
His father also said that the groom’s family asked the bride’s family to pay for the wedding of 50 million Uzbekistan som (IDR 68 million).
For the family of the bride and groom it is a large number, especially when they are in financial trouble.
