BEIJING, KOMPAS.com – One dog kind of german shepherd in China had been forced by the owner to eat a bowl of snacks with red chilies during a live broadcast themed on the pet food party, which was busy at social media over there.

Then, broadly translated as “meal broadcast”, a sound or activity of people consuming excessive amounts of food in a live broadcast accompanied by interactions with their viewers.
However, China since August has banned people from sharing this type of content, prompting pet owners to take advantage of the situation by sharing videos of animals overeating with unusual foods and treats.
A gruesome footage shows a german shepherd being forced by its owner to eat a spicy dish called La Zi Ji, or Chongqing Chilli Chicken, a regional dish known for its very spicy taste, on camera.

The dog owner wrote in the video, “He really enjoyed it”.

In addition, there are husky dog owners who force it to eat candy by stuffing the candy down its throat while gripping the pet’s mouth to keep it closed.
Such content has attracted hundreds of thousands of likes on Chinese video sharing platforms, such as Douyin and Kuaishou, even though most of the animals featured in this type of video do not appear as “happy” as their owners claim, reports said.
However, the new online trend has also faced a backlash from horrified animal lovers and urged authorities to close the accounts.

One netizen commented, “This is just a new way to abuse animals. They don’t deserve to raise animals, what a bunch of cold-blooded bastards! Poor animals, they trust their owners unconditionally, but their owners only use them as cash cows. “
Another said, “These people are very sick! They need to be censored immediately!”
A third netizen wrote, “Jeez, can’t you see her crying? How can you record her eating chilies while watching her cry and in pain?”
Owners of German Shepherds removed the video after facing widespread criticism online.
She claims she knows chilies are bad for dogs, but that her pets “really enjoy eating them,” Chinese media reported.
