A video posted on Twitter (newly renamed X) on Tuesday, August 1, has gone viral. We see a policeman in uniform, make an impressive fall coming out of a toboggan in a playground in Boston (United States).
Another fall that will have made the web laugh. A uniformed police officer in Boston (USA) injured himself when he fell off a slide located in a playground intended for children aged 2 to 12 years.
As the agent had entered the slide to test it, he came out with a slide that brutally propelled him to the ground.
“I don’t know what the circumstances are or what happened,” said Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.
“I’m going to make sure the agent is okay. If it looks like there needs to be more signage to say it’s for kids or something, we can do that too,” she said. “Nowadays, everything is going viral,” she continued in comments relayed by Boston 25 News.
Posted Tuesday, August 1, the video of the fall made the rounds on X (newly rebranded Twitter), as well as on TikTok where it has been viewed millions of times. Questioned by the local press, the Boston police revealed that the agent was indeed injured in his misadventure.
However, the police department said the city was not billed for the incident, and the injured officer used his own insurance for treatment. No disciplinary action was taken against the agent, said the local press, informed by the department.
