Sleman –
A video showing the arrival of a number of Indonesian Navy soldiers to Kalasan Police Precinct, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Sunday (25/4) night went viral on social media. In the viral video it was conveyed that TNI members came in the aftermath of negative comments written by police officers regarding the crew KRI Nanggala-402.
One of the accounts that uploaded a video of Indonesian Navy soldiers visiting Kalasan Police is the Instagram account @infokomando.
“TNI AL soldiers came to the Kalasan Sleman Police to ask for clarification as well as accountability for oblique comments on social media related to the sinking of the KRI Nanggala which was allegedly carried out by a Kalasan Police officer named Aipda Fajar Indriawan.
“Sorry, we are mourning the death of our colleagues. If you don’t have empathy, it’s okay, but it would be nice to keep quiet,” write the Instagram account @infokomando as seen detikcom, Monday (26/4/2021).
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Yogyakarta Regional Police, Kombes Yuliyanto, when confirmed, confirmed that there were Indonesian Navy soldiers who came to the Kalasan Police. However, he emphasized the presence of the Indonesian Navy to the Kalasan Police for gathering and asking for clarification.
“The TNI went to the Polsek for gathering to ask for an explanation whether it was indeed a police officer or not. But it is true (members of the Kalasan Police),” said Yuli when met at the DIY Police Headquarters, Monday (26/4/2021).
The Yogyakarta Regional Police, said Yuli, had also secured Fajar and is still undergoing an examination process.
“Last night he was also secured by Propam Polda,” he concluded.
