On social media a viral video recording shows the condition of one airport in China. It is said that there are thousands of people trapped because the authorities isolated the airport due to staff being detected positive COVID-19.
Quoted from Daily Mail, the video is said to have been shot at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Officers wearing white personal protective equipment (PPE) were seen shoving each other with a crowd of people.
Officers wearing PPE are trying to direct everyone at the airport to undergo a COVID-19 check. However, some panicked people tried to escape by jumping over the barrier.
Official news agency Xinhua said that until Monday (23/11/2020), 17,700 people had undergone swab tests. Of these, 11,500 returned with negative results.
The Shanghai authorities said there had been 6 positive cases corona virus COVID-19 that has been reported at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Most of the cases were reported recently.
