A video of an Arema supporter begging police not to fire tear gas during the Kanjuruhan tragedy went viral on social media after the match between Arema FC and Persebaya at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, East Java, on Saturday (1/10 ).
The spectator, whose name was Yohanes, admitted that he was scolded and beaten by the police when he asked the police not to shoot tear gas in the stands because there were many children.
