Parody of Bentley’s Sexy Car Ad Goes Viral
A provocative blonde in tight black shorts highlights the features of the luxurious Bentley car in a new advertisement, which has sparked a viral video trend around the world. Even Czech social media users have jumped on the bandwagon, creating parodies of the video. Following suit, volunteer firefighters from Lomnice nad Popelkou showcased their beloved Tatra truck.
While the model leans seductively against the flashy car, showcasing her perfectly manicured nails in the shape of Bentley’s iconic “B” logo, firefighter Kamila appears in her gear with a helmet and a belt adorned with tools, proudly displaying the traditional red and blue Tatra logo.
In the 40-second parody, viewers get a glimpse inside the luxurious Bentley as well as the fully equipped fire truck. Kamila caresses the steering wheel and even activates the sirens. The video leaves no doubt as to which vehicle the volunteer firefighters would prefer. “Of course, the fire truck,” laughs Martin Strnský, a member of the Lomnice fire brigade.
The protagonist of the parody, the tanker fire truck (CAS), is the star of the advertisement created by the Lomnice firefighters. It is used for interventions by the commander, the mechanic, and four firefighters. “It responds to all types of incidents, from traffic accidents to fires,” explains Strnský.
The volunteer fire brigade responds to around 150 incidents each year. “We have experienced a lot together,” he adds.
The role of the main character in the parody, which aims to entertain and attract attention to the firefighters on social media, is played by volunteer firefighter Kamila Polachová, a member of the Lomnice unit. “The video was also intended to encourage girls to join the units because they are often more hardworking than some guys,” says Strnský. He hopes that the increased reach on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, where the video was published, will attract more people to fire prevention and safety projects.
“It could attract new firefighters, as there are never enough,” he says. “The younger generation today is not as interested in this as before. All the units I know are looking for new people,” he adds. The parody on social media is already attracting attention from viewers.
The idea for the video came from Strnský’s young colleague, and it was well-received. Within two hours, the Lomnice version of the famous advertisement was created, igniting conversations not only within the firefighting community. “The best of all the ones I’ve seen so far,” commented a user on Facebook. “It’s a stroke of genius. Better than the original,” others chimed in.
What impact has the viral success of the parody video had on raising awareness for the essential work and equipment of firefighters worldwide
Of the Bentley while firefighter Šárka proudly demonstrates the various tools on the Tatra truck. The parody takes a humorous twist as Kamila attempts to start the Bentley’s engine with no success, while Šárka effortlessly starts the Tatra truck and drives off triumphantly.
The parody video has gained massive popularity on social media platforms, with users praising the clever juxtaposition of the glamorous Bentley and the reliable Tatra truck. It has received thousands of shares and likes, making it a viral sensation.
The popularity of the parody has even sparked a trend, with other fire departments and emergency services around the world creating their own versions, showcasing their own vehicles and equipment with a touch of humor. These videos not only showcase the essential work of firefighters and emergency responders but also highlight the importance of their reliable and functional machinery.
While the original Bentley advertisement aimed to highlight the luxurious and glamorous image of the car, the parody video serves as a reminder that functionality and reliability are just as important, especially in the world of firefighting and emergency services.
The viral success of the parody video has not only provided a comical break from the usual serious and intense nature of firefighting but also brought attention to the essential work and equipment of firefighters worldwide. It serves as a reminder to appreciate the hard work and dedication of these individuals and the vehicles they rely on to save lives.
In conclusion, the parody of Bentley’s sexy car ad has gone viral, sparking a trend of humorous videos showcasing the equipment and vehicles of firefighters and emergency responders. The popularity of these videos serves as a reminder of the importance of functionality and reliability in their line of work.
