Video of a man arguing with police when asked to make a U-turn on the track Peak, Bogor Regency, went viral on social media. This is the police explanation.
Head of Sub-Department for Bogor Police, Iptu Dicky, said that the incident took place on Friday (14/5) yesterday. Dicky said that initially there was a group of officials who wanted to pass. However, the man in the red jacket in the video tried to join the group of officials passing by.
“We don’t know (he’s the official’s personal assistant) PSSI or not, we also don’t hold the data. That’s my member (who turns back), I don’t know where I got the information from PSSI (or not). Indeed, yesterday there was a difference between the riders who wanted to ride and the officers. So yesterday there was a group of officials who wanted to go up, then suddenly someone followed. We have coordinated with the official, how many cars are there for official purposes. There are ratas activities. We prepare it, “explained Dicky when contacted, Saturday (15/5/2021).
“The information from the group was only four vehicles. Suddenly, how come someone came along, with us, we stopped, then he confess (from PSSI), “he added.
Dicky was not at the scene at that time. He only received information that the man claimed to be part of the official PSSI.
“I didn’t hear it, in the sense that I was not at the location, which is my Kanit Patwal. Only I got a report that there were people claiming to be sepri (PSSI official), whatever. We just can’t confirm it,” he said.
Dicky said that his party often finds this mode of pretense during the isolation. He conveyed that the problem with the man who claimed to be the personal assistant of the PSSI official had been resolved.

In the video that lasted about 2 minutes, a man in a red jacket with the words ‘Indonesia’ was asked to turn around by the police. However, the man argued with the police because he refused to be turned around.
The man admitted to being part of the PSSI group. But the police still asked him to turn back.
“Just turn around. Mr from PSSI? Okay, turn back first, we’ll help later. So just, easy, “said the police.
The man called himself a group from PSSI. The police then told the media crew about the man’s behavior.
“This is a vehicle that had joined the series, but did not want to be rotated, in fact insisted to me, “he said.
The police continued directing the man to make a U-turn. The man actually challenged the police to call the PSSI General Chairman (Ketum).
“Now you want to make a U-turn or not, please. I’m just this,” said the police.
“If I use the media, I will call Pak Ketum,” said the man and the police answered ‘please’.
