In addition to injuring visitors, the perpetrators also damaged the cafe facilities and scared the visitors.

The crime occurred at the cafe in the Simpang Dewi Sartika area, Tasikmalaya City, on Wednesday (5/5/2021) in the morning, at 12.30 WIB.

In the video recorded by residents, a perpetrator repeatedly whips out a samurai while standing near the rolling door cafe. Some of the visitors looked panicked and ran away scared. There are also cafe visitors hiding behind benches.

In addition, the action of the motorcycle gang was also recorded by the CCTV surveillance camera belonging to the ATCS Department of Transportation of the City of Tasikmalaya. The two perpetrators came on an automatic motorbike.

Yusril Isna, the cafe owner, said that the first time the perpetrator got on a motorbike, he passed in front of the cafe and then spread his motorbike. After that, the perpetrator turned back to the front of the cafe.

“I think he was in control of the situation, then came back with a samurai and attacked the cafe visitors,” he said when met at the cafe, Thursday (6/5/2021).

At that time, continued Yusril, the perpetrators were flying around with samurai and machetes. Suddenly, the cafe visitors were running and hiding.

“Then the perpetrator also threw the samurai and his machete into the motorcycle seats, chairs and flower pots. “There is one cafe manager who was hit by a samurai but only a few wounds,” he said.

Yusril admitted that he did not know the perpetrator at all. However, he suspected that the perpetrators were part of a motorcycle gang in Tasikmalaya.

“If it is estimated that the perpetrator is 20 years old, it is because he looks young,” he said.
