DENPASAR – The search for Ni Komang Ayu Ardani (37), a motorcyclist who fell with his family onto the Tukad Petanu bridge, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali has not produced results until Monday (22/3/2021).
Now, a viral event has emerged following a woman with long hair in the middle of a river who is known to be haunted by local residents.
The sight of the woman caused an uproar among residents who came to the location to see the search process and netizens who watched from video recordings on social media.
The sight of the woman was linked to conditions around the location which are known to be haunted. Even residents say that almost every year someone dies at the location due to accidents.
From the search results, the incident occurred on Saturday (20/3/2021). The woman with long black hair appeared in the midst of joint officers who were searching the Tukad Petanu river.

In the screenshot, the woman is only wearing a black tank top, not in uniform like an officer who is involved in the search process. He was seen walking along the riverbank, holding onto the rocks.
The mystery of the appearance of the woman at the Tukad Petanu river was finally answered after confirmation from the Head of Basarnas Bali, Gede Darmada. “He is a guest (a foreign national) who happens to live near the location,” he said.
The woman is known to have come from Mexico. Because he lives near the location and understands the ins and outs of the Tukad Petanu river, he took the initiative to join in the search.
According to Darmada, the search has been extended to the three sub-districts through which the Tukad Petanu river flows. The condition of the river itself is very heavy and full of rocks.
Search efforts were also carried out by the family in an unnatural manner and involved psychics. However, until now there has been no sign of the victim.
As reported, Ayu Ardani fell while riding a motorcycle with two people. Victim Ni Ketut Rindit (55), Ardani’s biological mother, was found dead. Only Putu Kevin Ramansa (9), Ardani’s son, survived.
