Doctor in Italy viral Gegara claims to be able to cure cancer patients by having sex. Unfortunately, not a few are victims of the doctor’s sexual violence.
Dr. Giovanni Miniello is 60 years old, he is a gynecologist in southern Italy. His action went viral after he diagnosed a 33-year-old woman with human papillomavirus.
“I have saved many women from cancer. Everyone I worked with was cancer free after having sex with me,” Miniello claims to the 33-year-old woman.
Fortunately, the woman did not believe it and immediately reported the incident to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica. He called Miniello harassing himself by touching the breast.
The woman also couldn’t understand the suggestion of curing cancer through have sex. Miniello previously told her there were white spots on her cervix that were indicative of HPV.
Therefore, Minello offers to have sex with the claim can provide immunity because he has been vaccinated. Thinking the action went smoothly, the doctor’s actions were finally caught by a journalist who broke into the practice.
The doctor reasoned that he did not force the patient to agree to this request.
“I’m doing this for my studies and for the others I’ve saved,” Minello claims.
“I, who have successfully treated hundreds of women for more than 40 years, only propose alternative medicine that is paying off.”
There are at least 15 women who have so far become victims of the doctor’s practice. Marika Massara, coordinator of the Center for Anti-Violence in Bari, said authorities had received several reports in recent days, even in the dozens.
“Women who came together and went through the same situation. Some thought they reported it, some were afraid, also because the secondary victimization rate we saw was very high,” he said.
The city’s public prosecutor has launched further investigations into the case.
