Viral Doctor Finds Monkeypox Patient Riding Train, Doesn’t Accept Reprimand

Jakarta

Viral, a doctor from Spain found a monkeypox patient or monkey pox wandering on the train. He saw that the man had many skin rashes, symptoms of monkeypox, but no one around him cared.

The surgeon, Arturo M Henriques, said that the man had a rash from head to toe, including on his hands. He said that, cautiously, asking the patient why he was still traveling with his severe condition.

“The man said he doesn’t need to stay at home, only has to wear a mask,” Henriques wrote on Twitter.

Henriques later told the man that he was a doctor and the wounds all over his body were highly contagious. But the man responded unkindly and said not to touch anything on his body.

“He told me not to touch his testicles and to sit down,” Henriques said.

The doctor then approached the woman who was closest to the patient, but the answer she gave made him very worried. Because the woman said she would not get monkeypox if she didn’t belong to the gay group.

Spain is one of the countries heavily affected by monkeypox. Two deaths were reported in men in their 40s and 30s. They were hospitalized in the days before their death with an infection affecting the brain.

The World Health Organization declared monkeypox a global health crisis last week. Symptoms of monkeypox include fever, headache, muscle aches, and malaise.
