Viral Dirty Comments Jeremiah Rambitan Criticized by Netizens

Silver medal badminton player SEA Games 2021, Jeremiah Rambitanbecame the spotlight of netizens after his dirty comments while doing live on social media accounts caused controversy.

In the footage circulating on social media, Jeremiah is on a bus. Jeremiah then commented, “I love you and I want to f**k you” while talking to someone. Jeremiah is doing live on the Tiktok app.

Jeremiah’s comments were then widely circulated to various platforms, including on Twitter. Then criticism came from netizens, including from badminton fans.

Jeremiah was judged to have made inappropriate comments and was categorized as harassment. Jeremiah was also reminded that he was representing Indonesia at the multi-sport SEA Games.

When the incident took place, Jeremiah was also wearing the jacket of the Indonesian contingent.

Netizen comments also began to point to Jeremiah’s personal account. A number of criticizing comments already exist on Jeremiah’s Instagram account until now, Jeremiah’s comment column is in status limited.

Yeremia is one of Indonesia’s representatives in the SEA Games. Paired with Pramudya Kusumawardana, Yeremia was able to qualify for the final round of the SEA Games.

In the final round, Pramudya/Yeremia lost to Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin so they had to settle for the silver medal.
