A foreign citizen went viral on Instagram social media after he uploaded a parking receipt on Instagram I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali. The cost of parking the man’s car is up to Rp. 9.6 million.
“9,6 mil IDR.. niceeeeee. (Thats around $670 USD). I wasn’t expecting this much tbh, quick shocked,” tulis pria tersebut.
In the payment note uploaded, it can be seen that the foreigner paid a parking fee of Rp. 9,640,000. The amount consists of lost ticket IDR 100 thousand, tariff A (regular) IDR 7,680,000, and tariff B (premium) IDR 1,860,000.
From the note with the number 57210000088 it is known that the man parked his vehicle at Ngurah Rai Airport for two months, from April 1, 2021 at 12:52 WITA to May 1, 2021 at 21:55. The Caucasian vehicle exited through the international gate 07.
Stakeholder Relations Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Taufan Yudhistira, said the foreigner had indeed parked there for two months.
“That’s right, the WNA is concerned and from April parking at the Airport. So the parking is concerned for two months,” said Taufan in a short message to the media crew, Wednesday (2/6/2021).
According to Taufan, previously there has also been a fairly high parking payment at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. However, the nominal charged to Caucasians is still the highest compared to the others.
To note, the parking rate for Bali I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is IDR 4,000 for two wheels for 12 hours. After 12 hours, the two-wheeled fare is charged Rp. 2,000.
For four-wheeled rates are charged Rp. 10 thousand for the first hour. After the first hour will be charged Rp 5 thousand. Then parking for six or more wheels is charged Rp. 15,000 for the first hour and decreases to Rp. 5,000 after that.
Especially for premium parking, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport charges an additional fee of IDR 30 thousand from regular parking.
Those who lose their tickets will also be subject to a fine, namely Rp. 50 thousand for motorcycles and Rp. 100 thousand for four-wheeled vehicles and six or more.
All parking fees are valid for 24 hours. After 24 hours, the rate will be re-applied from the beginning.
