Wolipop contacted Mohammad Rasya who uploaded a viral video on Tiktok about his unique love story. Rasya immediately told the story behind the video she uploaded.
“That was the initial post that was busy because of the viral game video of a friend’s wedding on September 9 2022 in Purwokerto, Central Java. The wedding of my friend who happens to be Ayi’s friend,” said Rasya to Wolipop.
Rasya then recalled how she first met Ayi, who is now her boyfriend.
“So at first I got a seat, after taking the flowers according to the MC’s directions, then when Ayi wanted to sit down, he probably walked backwards. So he didn’t know I was there, so he sat down with me,” he recalled.
“What’s the game like? It’s first come first serve. So the MC gave us a clue to find objects that we can sit on in the limited chairs provided. So we have to hurry so we can sit down,” he continued.
The video went viral, Rasya and Ayi were surprised because they received a flood of prayers for the two of them to unite. Not only that, people closest to them even wondered about their relationship.
“The reaction to being matched by netizens was that there were so many people praying for a soul mate and this really spread to family, neighbors and friends from school and work,” he said, confused.
“So I was asked directly, the response was just pray for a match. Actually, when I was in the game, I didn’t do it on purpose because I was shocked and thought the next seat was empty, so I just moved so I could get a seat too,” said Rasya, laughing.
Rasya said that she had known Ayi since December 2022. She was introduced to Ayi by their friend. Rasya is now in long distance contact with Ayi who is in Purwokerto.
“At first, we were close because we met more often with friends when hanging out. My friend, Ayi’s friend too, we are also a distance from Purwokerto and Jakarta. For now we are still getting to know each other,” concluded Rasya.
