Shasha recounted an experience where she met a man through the Muslim dating app, “muzmatch”, where they dated three times and the man proposed to her in August this year. The couple is ready to meet each other’s parents for blessing and begin preparations for their marriage contract in October.
“Some people think this marriage is too hasty and fast. But, I believe that it is fate and when things are destined, that is what is meant, “wrote Sasha on the muzmatch blog.
However, three weeks before the wedding, Shasha received news that the man who became her fiancé canceled the marriage.
“I was very surprised by the news because I thought everything was fine,” he was quoted as saying MalayMail, yesterday (2/12/2020).

“And I always imagined that we would succeed as long as we took the time to listen and compromise in a relationship,” he explained.
“But I never imagined that he would cancel the wedding and as time went on, I didn’t hear a word from him or his family members,” he said.
Although Shasha initially felt sad, and had to cancel her own wedding, she decided to continue the photo shoot alone in her wedding dress.
Her story on her photographer’s Instagram account @lightviewsg went viral with over 1,000 users giving likes and messages praising her for being strong and independent in continuing the shoot alone.
