The Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dittipideksus) of the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Department uncovers the robot case trading called Viral Blast that makes a loss memberits up to IDR 1.2 trillion. The police set four suspects in this case, with details three have been arrested while one is still being sought.
“In this case, investigators have determined 4 suspects, of which 3 suspects have been arrested and detained. And there is 1 suspect who is still on the DPO,” said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Tuesday (22/2/2022).
The three people who have been arrested have the initials RPW, ZHP, and MU. PW, who is still being hunted by the Criminal Investigation Department, has now been added to the wanted list (DPO).
Separately, the Dirtipideksus Bareskrim Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan explained, total member Viral Blast reached 12 thousand people. Whisnu explained that Viral Blast had been under PT Trust Global Karya since 2020, but it turned out that the company was illegal because it did not have a permit from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

From the suspects, Whisnu said his party confiscated a number of evidences in the form of money worth SGD 1,850,000, money worth Rp 12,000,000, 12 ATM cards, 4 luxury cars, and 8 units. WL.
As a result of their actions, the suspects were charged with multiple articles, namely Article 3 or Article 4 or Article 5 or Article 6 juncto Article 10 of Law 8 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU) and Article 105 juncto Article 9 and/or Article 106 juncto Article 24 paragraph 1 of Law Number 7 of 2014 concerning Trade. The penalties are 15 and 10 years in prison.
