However, the incident did not occur at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Reporting from the website of the International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics), Wednesday (4/8/2021), the video was probably taken in May 2021.

From the World Athletics calendar of events, it is known that Kodama appeared in the long jump for the qualifying stage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics at the Olympic Stadium, Tokyo on May 9, 2021.

At that time, Kodama was only able to finish in fourth place with a jump of 6.11 meters. These results did not allow him to appear at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Kodama himself is an athletic athlete who was born on June 27, 2000. Originally from Hokkaido, he is currently still listed as a student at Tokai University.

Since the video went viral, Kodama’s social media accounts have flooded with followers. The athlete now has 75,000 followers on his Instagram account.
