There is a major corona outbreak in the largest slaughterhouse in Swabia, Vion Beef in Buchloe (formerly A. Moksel AG). “As part of the regular examinations of all employees carried out by the company, a total of 39 employees tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus over the past 14 days. Vion Buchloe currently carries out daily tests of all employees and is in close contact with the responsible authorities. The slaughter of cattle at the site is currently suspended ”, the company announced on Tuesday when our editorial team asked. According to the Ostallgäu district office, the number of corona infections even increased to 40 by the afternoon.
