The injured are treated by paramedics. The incident took place at the Institute of Pharmacy.

Police and ambulance are at Majorstua where there has been a violent incident with a knife inside one of the buildings of the University of Oslo (UiO).

Two people are injured, one is slightly injured and one is said to be critically injured. These are both supervised by an ambulance.

Both are said to have stab wounds and the police have found two knives at the scene.

The police have control over the perpetrator.

The building where the incident occurred has been evacuated.

The police are still working at the site with a search of the building, to clarify whether there are more injured.

The police are still working on clarifications, but as of now it appears that the perpetrator has a relationship with the two victims.

Tor Gulbrandsen, head of operations in the police, tells NRK that there has been a stabbing with two people injured.

– The perpetrator must have been controlled by people at the scene. A knife has been used. The man is calm when the police arrive at the scene, says Gulbrandsen.

Gulbrandsen says that it appears that the perpetrator is a student and that the victims have a teaching position.
