Thiruvananthapuram: Three people were stabbed in a clash in the capital. Local residents Rahul, Abhilash and Rajesh were injured in the clash in Nandurkonam Ambedkar Nagar Colony. The incident happened around 8.30 pm on Sunday. It is reported that people from outside Ambedkar Nagar Colony started the conflict. Rahul was seriously injured in the neck and hand in the attack. It is reported that the injuries of the others are not serious. Kazhakootam police arrived and shifted the injured to the medical college hospital.
The police informs that the dispute over questioning the sale of intoxicants has reached the point of assaulting the three. Prashant, Pramod, Benton and Kala Rajesh, natives of Ambedkar Nagar, are said to be behind the attack. After an argument with the residents of the colony, the outsiders left. Later they got together with weapons and launched an attack.
