“There are fights all the time on the plain, but there it was violent.” A resident of the Plainpalais district attended the emergency response on Sunday morning at Avenue du Mail 31. “There was a man who was not moving on the ground and another who had both hands full of blood” , relates the witness.
The cantonal police confirm that an altercation between two people mobilized the police shortly after 8 a.m. “One person was injured and had to be hospitalized. Another was arrested, ”explains Aline Dard, police spokesperson. The latter cannot, however, comment on the seriousness of the victim’s injuries, but specifies that no weapon was used. An investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of the brawl, which several people witnessed.
