“Violent Brawl Erupts in Lyon’s Confluence District on Eve of Ascension Weekend”

The brawl broke out shortly before 6 a.m. outside a nightclub on Quai Rambaud in the Confluence district, as many revelers left the area where the Nuits Sonores are currently taking place. People have come to blows for an as yet undetermined reason, some protagonists have dealt blows with bladed weapons. At least one cutter was mentioned by a witness to the scene.

According to our information, the toll is heavy since about fifteen firefighters, helped by several SAMU teams, took charge of three men aged in their twenties and thirties. According to a source familiar with the matter, the three victims were transported in a state of absolute emergency to hospitals in the area. The state of health of one of them was particularly worrying.

Several police patrols, including members of the anti-crime brigade, were quickly sent to the area to gradually restore calm. And this, despite the tension that reigned, people worrying about the fate of a man on the ground being taken care of by the teams specialized in emergency relief. Heavy bloodstains were visible on the sidewalk.

It is not known whether any arrests were made by the police, but an investigation was in any case immediately opened.
