Violent Attack on Dijon Supporters’ Parking Lot Leaves One Seriously Injured

This Friday, the Dijon supporters’ parking lot in Martigues was stormed by around fifteen individuals, reports The public good. Hooded and armed with smoke bombs, the latter – whose membership has not yet been revealed – burst in while, on the ground, the DFCO was losing against the Martégaux. Blows were exchanged and several tarpaulins of the Dijon ultras, the Lingon’s Boys, were reportedly stolen.

Seriously injured, a Dijon resident is currently in hospital after “received a smoke bomb in the throat”, according to a witness to the attack. Close to the parking lot, the players themselves were confused by the events.
