A shocking case of violence against a 19-year-old girl in Sliven. For almost a year, with threats, including with a weapon, the student was raped by a 55-year-old man.
He is now in custody and remains permanently in custody, with charges of rape and fornication.

She is 19, from a good family, with excellent grades. A year ago, an old man talked to her by school. He says he knows her grandfather and invites her to go for a walk to get something from his home. That’s where the nightmare begins.
“He took out his gun, put it on the table, said: “I’m a policeman, nothing scares me, neither the policemen, nor anyone, I can kill them all”. From there he told me – “you will do … if not we have sex, something bad will happen”. And I did it. The next day he called me, said if you don’t come in 3-4 minutes, I will upload nude videos”, the girl said.
Thus, at gunpoint, the girl was repeatedly raped. The man waits for her at school, watches not only her, but also her family. He knows where her mother works, and when she is gone, he goes to their house. He threatens to kill her brother if she tells the police.
“And he told me – I will now come to you, your mother is gone, you will not go to your brother. He said that he will kill my brother if I tell someone and I do not go to the given place, and it is enough for him to say it once.
The violence changes the girl beyond recognition. He spoils his success in school, does not talk to his relatives, breaks down emotionally. Therefore, her mother puts a camera in the apartment, on which she sees a man come to their home and make fun of her daughter. The shock for the relatives is huge.
“The footage I’ve seen of what happened to my sister is just… I hope mostly for prison, and as long as possible, because I feel powerless, it’s kind of absurd,” said the girl’s brother.
