Linz. In the night from Friday to Saturday, two male individuals in a shared flat got into an argument in Linz am Rhein. According to the police, the initially verbal dispute escalated when the 29-year-old accused repeatedly punched his 32-year-old roommate in the face. The victim suffered multiple facial injuries. Both persons were heavily under the influence of alcohol when they committed the crime. The accused had appeared to the police several times as a violent offender. Criminal proceedings were instituted against him for bodily harm. (PM)
