Shocking scenes took place in Aleșd, where a car involved in an illegal race violently collided with another, which was driving regularly, in the parking lot of the swimming pool in the city. Everything was captured by witnesses with a mobile phone.
The recording, released Friday night by AleșdOnline.ro, shows how the two cars involved in the illegal race are running at full speed. Towards the end of the race, there is a loud braking noise, and then a bang.
The filming then captures how one of the cars, the Volkswagen Passat, enters a fence and screams are heard. The sign of the beginner can be seen on the windshield of the car, a sign that the driver did not even have much experience behind the wheel.
As two people in the hit car needed medical investigations, the event came to the attention of the police officers of the Aleșd Road Department after a call through 112.
Contacted by Bihorthe spokesperson of the Bihor Police, chief commissioner Alina Fărcuța, specified, on Saturday, that the incident took place on Thursday evening, around 9.45 pm, in the parking lot of the Aleșd Swimming Pool.
“It was a road accident caused by aggressive driving.
Two cars (a VW Passat and a VW Golf – no) participated in a race over a distance of about 80 meters, and one of them collided with another (Opel – n.r.) circulating regularly, with the intention of crossing the parking lot.
Two people were transported to the hospital for investigation that evening, and fortunately no hospitalization was required, the road accident being subsequently registered as a collision “, the Bihor Police representative also specified.
The two cars were seriously damaged.

The drivers of the cars involved in the illegal race were suspended with their driving licenses. One of them, the one who caused the accident, will remain a pedestrian for five months.
“The police from Aleșd identified the two drivers participating in the race, and the following measures were taken against them:
– suspension of the right to drive for 150 days for aggressive driving and a fine of 1,780 lei, against one of them (the one who caused the road accident – no);
– suspension of the right to drive for 30 days and a fine of 870 lei against the other “, he declared BIHOREANULUI Alina Fărcuța.
