From the world of an autograph hunter: Bernhard Russi, Fidel Castro and Alexei Navalny under one roof
The Red Crosser Vinzenz Brändle has collected around 300,000 autographs over the last 40 years. Selected copies can be viewed in the Rotkreuz community library until the end of March.

On Thursday evening, Red Cross autograph hunter Vinzenz Brändle, known far beyond the country’s borders, gave an insight into his hobby in the Rotkreuz community library. Around 100 people present, including prominent guests of honor from politics and sport, literally hung on Brändle’s every word when he revealed: “I collected everything possible as a child and teenager. In 1972 I wrote to Bernhard Russi. I asked him for an autograph, but forgot to include a stamped reply envelope, so I had to pay a penalty for postage.
