In her wardrobe that has been carefully preserved for four decades, Sylvie Grumbach unveils trendy and emblematic pieces from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. bags with a timeless touch from Azzedine Alaïa.

Some pieces draw their inspiration from the 18th century. A kind of time travel that amuses this enthusiast: “Fashion has always been inspired by the past. Before, creators hung out at flea markets, visited museums to feed their inspiration. They drew their creativity from paintings, films, travels and everything around them”. Sylvie Grumbach remembers a trip to the United States to support her remarks : “I remember a visit to Disney in Orlando with the designer Kenzo (Takada), we had spent a few days there. A child of the seraglio

Granddaughter of Cerf Mendès France, founder of the Mendès house and sister of Didier Grumbach, former president of the French Federation of Couture, ready-to-wear fashion designers and fashion designers, we can say that the owner of this avant-garde collection is a child of the seraglio.

Fashion, she rocked in it and devoted her whole life to it until creating in the 80s her own communication and public relations agency, 2e Bureau, specializing in the field of fashion and photography. Some lots from his auction also come from the archives of his agency. She was, among others, the first press officer for Valentino Garavani, John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood, whom she accompanied in their debut. Today, its prestigious clients include the Villa Noailles, a contemporary art center of national interest located in Hyères, Reporters Without Borders and the Visa pour l’image photojournalism festival.
