In the midst of the frenzy of the 2022 World Cup, a news story has emerged Vinicius Junior wants to terminate his contract with Nike. Striker Brazil they feel undervalued by the United States sportswear.
According to Reuters, O Globo and Diario AS, Vinicius felt he was not being treated fairly after he was not included in the advertisement produced by Nike with the Brazil national team for World Cup 2022. Furthermore, economic factors are also said to play a role.
Vinicius’s expression of frustration was seen when he wore the old Nike Mercurial Vapor 14 shoes during the World Cup. He has also contacted his team of lawyers to take steps to terminate his contract with Nike.

Vinicius is one of Nike’s biggest assets in Brazilian soccer after terminating Neymar’s contract last year. Neymar is now under contract with Puma.
During the 2022 World Cup, Vinicius appeared twice in the group stage, all in starts. He scored an assist for Richarlison’s goal as Selecao beat Serbia 2-0 in their first match. He sat on the bench as Brazil lost 0-1 to Cameroon.
So far, Nike has not responded to reports of a conflict with Vinicius.
