That’s the baby book ‘Vineeta Vizmayam’ by Fazalu a.k.a. Fazalurahman, territory manager of Vue Sonic – cute pencil sketches of a vivid friendship born out of chance.
Fazalu, a young social activist with a rich heritage of argita culture, carves out Vineeth Srinivasan, a celebrity who clings to his wings even as he soars high and innocent friendships. Fazalurahman testifies that Vineeth Srinivasan is a unique personality in the fake world of cinema, where he mercilessly tramples those who have stood by him and those who have supported him as he climbs the steps of growth. Fasalu’s writing talent is worth mentioning as he paints the fragrance of friendship that blooms like a flower with words that spring from the heart.
This writing is also a correction to the common perception that art, reading and writing are not the professions that IT-business people are told. While thriving in the dull world of hustle and bustle, this author keeps within him a well-spring of nature and social sense. The proof of that is the awards he received for his social work during the floods and the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, and the precious friendships in the art world, and this book. Through his lyrics, Fazalu feels emotional about Vineeth, an artist who, despite being no one in the world of silver screen or the world of art, takes care of him with the care of an elder brother, accompanies him and advises him. It is not for nothing that Murali Gopi says in his introduction that this work can be seen as an example of how an artist touches lives through his art and subtly provides active awakening and stimulation.
Apart from being a clear sign of friendship, this little book is also a breath of fresh air in this time of hatred. This is a must-read because these proclamations of innocent friendships that nullify all forms of discrimination are very relevant these days.
